 Biodegradable Phones Sketch Design

I made this sketch model of a biodegradable phone inspired by the topics involving objects in the documentary film "Objectified" by Gary Hustwit. The later part of the documentary discusses the material of objects in our day-to-day lives and how they are disposed of at some point. It talks about how these objects we use are made of materials that aren't eco-friendly, making their longevity prolonged even when the functionality of that item is long overdue to us as consumers.

Therefore, I thought of a phone model that is eco-friendly in its material. I specifically chose a phone as it is an item that many people have and involves heavily in their lives, and is often discarded due to a newer model coming out every other year and such. Even when this phone would be no longer of use to us consumers, its material would allow it to not overdue its stay within the trash bins it will eventually find itself in. I imagine that this phone would be made out of biodegradable metals and plastics. This material would be tough and a bit chunky, allowing the phone to be protected and thus discouraging the potential use of non-biodegradable phone cases. I specifically used the colours green and brown for this sketch as these colours are earthy hues. This would communicate the bio-friendly function of the phone to the consumers.
